Frequently Asked Questions

Getting Started

  • If you’re wondering, that’s usually your sign. Whether it’s late talking, unclear speech, big feelings, sensory struggles, or fine motor concerns — we’re happy to talk it through and guide you gently in the right direction.

  • Sometimes yes, sometimes no — it depends on your insurance plan. If you’re unsure, reach out. We’ll help you figure it out.

  • We see little ones from birth through age 10.

If they still fit in tiny chairs and think stickers are currency, they’re in the right place.

Therapy & Progress

  • Sessions are either 30 or 60 minutes.

  • Every child is different — just like flowers in a garden 🌸🌻🌼 — and each one blooms in their own time.

We typically recommend at least 2 sessions per week (30 minutes each) to create steady progress and real carryover. From there, we tailor frequency and duration based on your child’s goals and needs — and adjust as they grow.

With the right consistency, care, and environment, beautiful growth happens.

  • It looks like play — but with a plan.

You might see your child grocery shopping in our mini market, running the café, caring for a stuffed animal at the vet’s office, or doing laundry in our tiny home. Behind the scenes, every activity is thoughtfully chosen to target real-life skills — speech clarity, regulation, motor coordination, problem-solving, social connection.

    It’s functional. It’s purposeful. It’s data-driven.

It just happens to look like the best kind of childhood.

Parent Partnership

  • Always. You’re not just allowed — you’re welcome.
Depending on your child’s needs, you may join in, observe, or get coaching time built right into the session. We believe progress happens fastest when grown-ups feel confident too.

  • Yes — but think “life-friendly strategies,” not Pinterest homework.
We’ll give you simple, realistic ways to build skills into snack time, bath time, car rides, and everyday moments.

  • Absolutely (with your permission).
We love being part of your child’s full team — teachers, pediatricians, specialists. It takes a village, and we play well with others.

Policies & Practical Matters

  • Every child’s timeline is unique. Some need a short season of support; others benefit from longer care. Our goal is always meaningful progress, growing independence, and a joyful “graduation day” when the time is right.

  • We know life with kids is beautifully chaotic. Please review our cancellation policy, and know that consistency matters — growth loves routine.

  • If your little one is sick, please keep them home to rest. We love sharing smiles here, not germs. 🌻

If your child feels well enough to participate but should stay home, telehealth may be a great option so progress does not have to pause.

If they need a true rest day, we completely understand and will gladly help you reschedule.

If your family will be away for vacation or travel, please give us as much notice as possible. We know trips and special plans come up, but your child’s appointment time is still reserved just for them.

Because your therapist sets aside this time especially for your child, and because consistency is such an important part of progress, we do take our cancellation policy seriously. We know missed-visit charges are never fun, but this policy helps us protect therapist time, support consistent care, and serve all families well.

    Please read the policy below.

We’re not fluorescent lights and flashcards.

We’re a tiny village built for little people.
A collaborative team that talks to each other.
A space where therapy looks like play — but is backed by intention, skill, and heart.

It truly takes a village.
We’re honored to be part of yours. 🌻

Not only that, she's taking off!! With Covid, Telehealth was our only option, however, it's working so well and so convenient that we'll stay with it. Incredibly thankful."
